Anyone else had errors after the upgrade? When I visit one of my larger bases the game crashes. I have tried rebuilding database on my PS5 but still have the issue.
When I fired up the game today after not playing for a while, I noticed it had reset many of the settings. ‘Base complexity’ was set to high instead of ultra for me. Might be worth checking your settings to see if it’s that, assuming your base was big or bumping up against the limits?
I have looked at the settings and can’t see anything about base complexity. Sounds like PS5 settings are less detailed than on PC.
I’ve travelled to my other bases and my freighter, and experience no issues. But as soon as I go to that one larger base the game just freezes. I’ve seen much bigger bases when exploring from the anomaly, so it’s not like I’ve done anything excessive! But never mind I’ll try deleting this one and rebuild.
I have reported the issue to Hello Games, though the PS5 has sent them an error report each time it crashes. If they get enough of them I’m sure they’ll send a fix!
In the update released few minutes ago there is a fix for a crash related to the buildings, maybe it is something related to your problem

Haven’t played in over a year on Xbox. Several total crashes and one major graphic glitch requiring system reboot.
I only started playing a couple of months ago on Ps5. Think due to the disaster launch way back, it must have been one of the free monthly games for PS Plus subscribers.
I was only looking for a way to chill between my harder games but I have been amazed at the wide content. I’ve seen so many updates come through I’d be surprised if the issues you mention haven’t been fixed.
The game does have the odd glitch, but they don’t usually affect gameplay much at all. The exception to that is co-op missions in the Nexus, they can be more buggy.
If the game isn’t your cup of tea then I understand. But writing this to hope it encourages you to give it another try.
