Very very beta still from my testing but I’m excited to see where it goes. I’m not aware of any other browsers that have forked off of modern* WebKit/Safari and the more diversity, the better.
*I know that the Blink engine was originally a fork of WebKit
Biggest downside with Orion is unreliable extensions.
Firefox and Chromium have had private browsing for ages and both are open source
Yes, but competition is good for innovation. They learn things we can all learn from, and the other browsers are harder to contribute to.
