This is something that directly impacts Lemmy and all Fediverse. Section 230 makes the hosting provider not liable for things their users post as long as they remove offending material (I don’t know the specifics, IANAL). Eroding section 230 is like pulling the ladder up behind the behemoth providers like YouTube. New small time services will essentially be illegal.
That’s probably going to be one of the main weapons against us, the media generating fake news using AI to control us.
At some point, someone said the same thing about:
Is this /c/technology or /c/anti_technology because it’s hard to tell most of the time.
Yea. I have no idea if there is evidence of that or not. I never really studied Mars more than, “red planet.”
My completely unfounded theory is Mars’ iron core was puked out all over the ground and the water rusted it away. That turned her red and lost her magnetosphere.
I suddenly realize why I was so good at bhopping without scripts. Haha I’d get banned for cheats and never cheated once.
Thanks, friend. Much needed words. Maybe I’ll put my decades of counter strike to good use at some point.
All they had to do was build a solid, reliable truck, and not be fascist. Instead they build a poorly glued together piece of shit and sieg heil. I fucking hate this timeline.
I wonder if that has to do with a call to arms so to speak. I’m reminded of a John Mulaney skit where he says at the end if the boys and girls basketball club, the speaker gets up and says how it’s great they have this organization because the alternative to youths playing basketball is drugs and alcohol… and that was the first time he heard that there was an alternative, and so he became the best at that. I also wonder if public shootings happen more when they are reported on.
Maybe to avoid triggering folks with traumatic experiences? Only thing that I can think of.
That is an insane amount of storage. How much does it grow every year and is it stable growth or accelerating?
We need IA full mirrors. This is too critical to leave to this one company.
Did they change it again? It was FSD Beta, then Supervised, now you’re telling me it’s ASSISTED? Since that’s not in TFA…
I’ve been using Mojeek lately and it looks like their advanced search can do some of that.

Reminds me of early Google search.
That’s pretty cool. Thanks for sharing!
Did you forget the /s?
This is 1:2.5M, pretty cool! Anyone know where to find the download for the digital dataset? Here’s the USGS’s 2020 1:5M dataset.
Also is there similar for Mars or other celestial bodies?
