my routine was search for similar function, read/understand a piece of code. copy/paste block. modify for my context. test, move on hardly ever wrote anything from scratch because it just took longer. ai seems like an unmodified copy/paste that doesn’t quite work. like generated art for non–artists, sucks. generated code for non-coders also sucks.

tried to scan a barcode, which lens has done for years, get ai excuse for seeing that it is, in fact, a barcode. link was just a bot jab

it was slopped together with a url to bypass silly bot that rejected for no url. just bitching about google ai breaking basic scanner i used lens for. i’m good, mods getting lazy imo.

jup, offend the right accounts. digitally disappear from ‘their’ site. fun way out. bot accounts probably masquerade as click-bots broadcasting weather reports, spamming slop etc. clicking ads to inflate ad revenue or spread disinfo. crude but effective. the efforts are amazing if they weren’t so annoying. think facebook axed my account because i blocked too many bots/ads, for years though. tw showed me the door in a few months. interfering in their schemes

i had this idea only i planned to retire on the beach and eat fish. turned out to be no fun after a week camping in a jeep. Apocalypse in the basement. i wonder if there’s a siren like tornados

had a regular 110 plug adapter and extension cord. plug in anywhere but takes longer than charge station. never used it in 20,000 miles. about same as a gasser. hit 1/4 tank stop and fill up. imagine the switch from horses to gas was hard to figure out for a while.
