I used to hate them for being slow and annoying. Now they drive like us and I hate them for being dicks. This morning, one of them made an insane move that only the worst Audi drivers in my area do, a massive left over a solid yellow across no stop sign with me coming right at it before it even began acceleration into the intersection.

Not a comment on the merit of the article, but a tangential thought: Fediverse has presented the same amount of doom to scroll as the algorithms. I open my phone to get a break from work, life, etc, and any app I think to open for social or news, presents the same anxiety of “I just can’t deal with that type of shit right now; where can I bury my head in the sand?”

The irony is in the fact they sold databases to the Reich for asset manager and business process management (hey kids, did you know the Holocaust forearm tattoos were the database entry ID? Can’t go wrong buying blue!)
