I mean it’s a Jeep. You don’t buy that if you don’t want a limp car, anyways. :P
The strength of life to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.

Hrm, unlike then. I was thinking whether someone had added that solid-layer-every-X-layers option to the slice. (sadly can’t remember the name, and am at work)
Was this a ready-to-print file you got from someone? Or one that you sliced yourself?
VOLKSwagen!
I was looking forward to buying a Bambu printer but now it is off the table for me.
I mean for me they were already off the table with their proprietary bullshit overpriced replacement parts. Yeah sure, it prints more out-of-the-box but once you’re used to a little maintenance other printers even cheap ones just are easier. Trivial maintenance and you can get 3-4 for the price of one Bambu usually, which more than offsets the speed.
Don’t worry, keys are already easy to leak. Can’t be long before you just install a plugin in OrcaSlicer and then it works again.
Man I sure wish this’d mean all Trump-generated content and speeches got deleted. That’d be genuinely helpful to the world at least…
Ah, they’re all crap.
Came to Teams from Slack, some upsides, some downsides. It’s a corporate communication tool, I don’t use it because I think it’s beautiful and elegant, I use it because I get paid money to use it.
I mean it makes sense to target these people. If you’re stupid enough to believe the shit Musk or Trump spout, you’re also stupid enough to not see these very obvious scams.
Yeah, sadly this has become normal. The polution rate has reached ~100%. And sure, you already artificially build the final image anyways, but with Starlink, this has become a necessity. You can no longer take any individual shots, as they’re all just Starlink streaks.
That’s the main issue I see here, too. If you can provide this without the side effect, per-country, sure. Go ahead. Cool service.
You’re Boeing to die…
Yep. It’s impressive, tbh.
It’s a company that was one of the first to get into “smart xyz” at all, scored big, and since then has shown that they have absolutely not a single clue how to do smart home appliances.
That’s the worst part, back when they were new, at least Sonos had a cool USP. Nowadays others do remote access and smart speakers too, and Sonos is still overpriced, still mediocre hardware, and now doesn’t even have a nicely integrated all-in-one-app any more.
Same. For me the final straw was when it started desynchronising from actual progress when playing podcasts, which means every time I pause and resume I’m somewhere else I the episode.
I mean, to be fair, I’d like to know more about the volume lost here.
For example people often struggle to imagine that the sun is losing 4.7 million tons every second. Or that ships constantly take on water they have to pump out. This is part of normal operation, and while the helium leaks here clearly are not, if built with a degree of redundancy in mind, certain loss rates are entirely acceptable.
Or not.
Depends on the volume involved. 😅
So did they find any helium 3? Or space Nazis?
I think Airbus is too busy swimming in money.
I heard from my neighbors - who work there - that the biggest struggle internally now is to keep their quality standards up despite everyone and their mother ordering dozens of planes as they’re cancelling as many Boeing orders as they can. So it takes constant and organized pushbacks against management to not commit the same normalization of deviance that is bringing Boeing down. You’d think it’d be easy! Because that’s exacty why their main competitor is flailing. Nope, management wants their bonuses. 😑
At least from what they can tell me, it’s actually working though and upper management had to shut it and accept the current speed of work and enjoy the decades of backlog and paid-already contracts instead. Only 4 yachts per person or something…
Hrm, I had similar issues on my Artillery X2 before.
Here’s what I went through:
Finally, I gave up, and took out the thermistor again thinking maybe I broke it. There’s a small PCB connected to it, that sits on the side of the hot end assembly. I contacted Artillery about a potentially faulty hot end PCB, they sent me a replacement. It did not help. Desperate, I also replaced the thermistor with the replacement one that was part of their repair kit. And that worked. I think the faulty PCB broke the first replacement thermistor or something…
Yeah we’re not talking about a BambuLabs printer with some PLA here.
