My local power company operates as a co-op utility company and ISP that runs gigabit fiber to my curb. <$100/month. Community owned utilities can be amazing when done right.

Net neutrality was not defeated, it was changed by regulatory capture and a lying ass lying Adjit Pai, a scumbag corporate lawyer for Verizon before he was in the FCC. The public overwhelmingly wanted no part of it but he did it anyway.
You might say he took Adjit on it.

Trump was biggest and most useless piece of shit president in the history of ever that added zero benefit to the USA and I will forever be embarrassed in my fellow citizens for ever voting for that piece of shit.
Since net neutrality was repealed Comcast hasn’t let me torrent anything faster than a few hundred kbps, even on Linux ISOs. I had to get a VPN just for that.
