While technically correct, I feel this record is a bit misleading, at least as it’s been reported. When a minister resigns or there is some reshuffling in the government formally the PM is actually forming a new government so it’s quite common for PMs to lead more than a government during their term. Meloni simply didn’t need to shuffle anyone so far.
There is no government in Italy which was led by a single Prime Minister which was as long as this one. Reshuffling or not. No government ever achieved completing the 5 years of mandate. This is indeed the longest government Italy ever had.
