could be a simple hot spot cell backup, like for reporting network outage, remoting in to certain devices, etc. essentially a secondary ISP to report on main isp and troubleshoot. especially if you have smart devices you could reboot remotely.
then I won’t be visiting those sites I guess

I felt the same a year or so ago when he went viral. some of it pretty funny, but it wears off quickly. I binged a lot of his videos, then haven’t watched one in at least 6 months. it’s a lot of high energy squeezing and talking about his battery when he knocks it over.

yeah, I realized it after posting. I don’t see ads, I use it to block sponsored stuff and forgot about injected ads. still a great plugin.

there is a plugin I bought, it’s community driven where you can tag sections of the video as ad, sponsored, etc, and auto skip it. it’s really nice, was like $5. will post when I find the link, but even if ads are server side, this plugin will skip. someone has to bite the bullet though and tag time stamps unfortunately.
found it, called dearrow, also changed clikcbait thumbnails and titles are editable by community.
if you use Firefox on mobile, you can add plugins like ublock origin.
copilot is the new “Cortana”, they’re pushing it to windows 10 and 11.
