You need to enter the space station, not just run away. Everything ignores you when you’re underground. It only needs to be a couple of meters.

It feels like this comment is supposed to be negative/sarcastic, but Apple Maps is actually good, so I am not sure where you’re going with this.

Too low (nozzle height)

TBH I’m not a huge fan of using the nozzle for probing, but I wouldn’t call it a flaw. It works pretty well as long as the nozzle is clean.

The MK4 touches the nozzle to the bed during probing where the MK3 does not. I do the same with my nozzle temp on the MK3 which I don’t know why Prusa hasn’t just made as standard yet.

I really like the open nature of Prusa. I won’t tolerate a printer that requires a propriety web service to use like Bambu. I have a Prusa Mini, MK3S, and now the XL, and I am happy about how easy they are to operate and maintain. Every printer is a winner and only gets better with every release. I’m a customer for life.

That said, the cost is a little higher than I’d like and the technology is often a little behind (a bit like my Apple products) but the reliability is so good that it’s completely worth it.

• dry the filament - most filament is wet even if it is brand new
• calibrate flow rate
• calibrate first layer (nozzle height)

I rarely deviate from Prusa Slicer’s built in profile for Prusament and have great results. I would try drying the filament first if everything else is working well.

I don’t want to sound harsh, but I would suggest to figure out where you’re going wrong with the probe. Once set up properly, they take a lot of guess work out of getting the first layer right. I will never (willingly) use another printer without one.
