Place it in hot water and it should return close to its original shape.
A bug, or a feature?

That’s exactly what I think I’m seeing here.

anguo@lemmy.cato 3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Considering the Prusa CORE One as first printer - any reason to reconsider?English3·8 months agoIn my opinion, the only disadvantage is the cost.
But even the cost difference might get recouped later on, if Prusa continues releasing upgrade kits the way they’ve been doing it for the i3 line. Support is also excellent. I broke a thermistor while upgrading a printer, and they sent me a free replacement because it was unclear if it was my fault or not.
Another disadvantage might be that you’ll become a militant Prusa fanboy, and never look at another brand again ;)

You can also cancel individual objects on Prusa MK4 and Mini by default.

I’m also always astonished by the fact these are running full OSes.

Well, there is a reason I was trying to get rid of that printer 😅. The school had two Creality CR-5S that were donated from a Chinese university. You won’t find anything about them online (except for one YouTube video describing how terrible they are). Not sure how much of a gift it was to the student.
So, I’ve had something similar happen to a creality printer, which was just the excuse I needed to bench it. I gave it to a student later, he plugged it in and it just …worked.
So my first reflex would be to tell you to unplug it and hold the power button, to empty any residual charges/memory.

There is a chance that the auto bed leveler will mess up and destroy your print surface.English1·1 year agoI upgraded my school’s MK3s to MK3.9s, and while it hasn’t gouged in the actual printing area, it has left a deep mark where it first extrudes a line of filament, on all of my sheets.
My problem is kind of the opposite, I feel it doesn’t give it enough squish, and I’m having a lot of adhesion issues. There is also a new cold draft in the space however, so can’t yet pinpoint the issue to this.
I mean, from what I see from your pictures, these models clearly need supports, at least in the orientation you’re printing them at.
