I’d use SSH, I don’t know how to set it up by heart but I do know that there’s a Windows client called putty which seems to work pretty well since it sounds like you don’t have another Linux machine to run an SSH client from.

I’m slowly learning Emacs, I’d say I like it but it’s a lot of config work and I wouldn’t recommend it to somebody who hasn’t programmed before.
4·10 months agoI have that feeling with almost every proprietary binary from a website nowadays.
I have a laptop with 4GB of RAM and it works fine, my fedora i3 installation. It’s nothing compared to a proper computer but it’s not like I ever run out of RAM either. (Generally I open two Firefox windows, discord and vscode)
Or you could just install it on any other system with Wayland or x11.
Gparted works fine for me, so that’s what I use.
Keep in mind that if it is a serious security issue many projects have a way of reporting them separately from other bug reports so the issues can be patched before being published.
1·2 years agoAccording to the GitHub page the user.js is for desktop only but ublock should still work.
Why not add Snowflake while we’re at it?
How am I the only one who does have annoying issues like this on Windows (except that Windows only gives a useless error code at most) while Linux has failed to boot a total of once (without me explicitly changing nvidia drivers).
