We’ve so much in common! I had a skin working that made Kodi look just like an emby app or webpage

There is an emby addon that uses your server to keep track of profiles and stuff. It’s actually pretty sweet to get it set up.

I have been on this hunt myself and am coming up short. Especially on the hardware at my disposal.

So far I’ve tried all the same stuff you’ve mentioned but am settling in to LibreELEC well enough with addons, including the emby next gen setup (got into emby before finding out about jellyfin)

what don’t you dig about LibreELEC?

Plasma bigscreen sounds like it would be the best, but I never got it to work right ( granted I was very new to Linux back then)

Have you tried blissOS?

Are these issues also present on Ubuntu based LXCs?

I am living that dream right now and it’s pretty sweet. Tied into my jellyfin and emby setup. Personal photo screensaver, integration with my control platform, can run some emulators. And add-ons for some services.

I can’t get prime video to work but that’s not terrible, I do wanna watch fallout though.

I need to figure out a way to dual boot to Blissos easily on the fly.

But yeah LibreELEC has made me proud

Well this machine has 2 display port and another HDMI output, if I passed a connection to each VM, could I keep from needing 3 different media players? as everyone’s HDMI cables run to the same closet.
