Aw looks like somebody’s cranky because they can’t ask chatbot how to wipe their butt.

Hopefully they’ll get your nanny online again soon.

Couldn’t be more obvious you don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s hardly “constantly wrong”. Childish hyperbole.

Weird that you give a fuck what I do to improve my life, you arrogant prick.

literally every time I gave one of these things a shot they gave me at least one blatantly wrong answer. considering by how animated you got from the get go about the mere idea of having it shut down, you’re probably not the type that would notice.

Gotta love how the Reddit and now Lemmy community is constantly against every single kind of technological advancement and they constantly end up being wrong a few years down the line.

Nothing but misinformation, hypocrisy and insults. This place is an echo chamber where not they’re not used to being challenged.

This is good news for the two OpenAI browser users who are now forced to use something better.

I hope it’s not a bug and they are just running out of money to keep servers up instead.

Tinfoil hat moment: Altman panicked with all the money hemorrhaging and is trying new inventive ways to get money from the paid subscribers whilst drastically reducing operation costs. He pulled the plug for a bit.

      “controlled blackouts”

Seriously though, why wouldn’t that asshole try something like that? Soon enough it’s gonna be a subscription-only service or you’ll have to start “paying” in compute somehow and you’ll get like 2400-baud chatgpt that’ll take like 3 days to complete a request, lol

If we want a conspiracy theory, let us go for real:

he wants users to taste the feeling of not having access, then offering premium to ‘stop living in fear of losing gpt’.

Oh and free tier will be gone soon^tm

Can’t tell you how excited I am to read this headline, despite the feeling that I really oughtn’t count my chickens before they’ve hatched.
