The base is dovetailed at the corners and the uprights are lapped in. I have to complicate everything.

I’ve never tried dovetails, I could only hope to do as well. I’d probably just do a corner brace and call it done, though.

dovetails in construction lumber. This makes me happy.
I had that same compost tumbler, and the frame rusted away on mine as well!

It was okay. It composted well, but it was a little bit of a pain to get the compost out through the door. Probably better than a static composter.
