    While American weapons have remote shut offs? It will be suicide to use American weapons to defend Europe. And price do not matter at all.

      Not sure they do have a shut off, but modern weapon systems are so complex that they don’t have to have that. Just stop supporting them with updates, material and support and most will be useless in a very short time.

    Maybe they should try aggressively lobbying Trump to stop…(gestures around vaguely)…everything he’s been doing. He is the entire reason for their perfectly understandable hesitation to treat the US as a reliable supplier.

    Any deal they negotiate with him is subject to change, depending on whatever mood he happens to wake up in, from one day to the next. So, why the fuck would anyone want to sign a contract with someone like that? Especially when it comes to their own national security?
