      Exactly.

      As soon as there is a US company involved, even via “independent” European subsidiaries, that company can be obliged to grant access to the data.

      This is not sovereign, but only useless smokes and mirrors.

          Go at least one layer deeper. Even if all US tech were properly given the boot, the US would find/buy European bootlickers to create a compromised European owned and operated company. Europe’s IT infra will need to be hardened architecturally.
