Lol. Even this $100 phone can get a headphone jack but the massively-funded Android OEMs aside Sony can’t offer this feature.
I really wish that the Firefox phone had gained more support
KaiOS 4.x just dropped with Fx 128 I think. You will be on an underpowered flip phone, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing…
I got a Sailfish OS last year seeing the writing on the wall already with all the bootloader locking. It’s been bumpy to put it lightly, but at least it has Android apps to help get over the gaping holes of basic missing apps like a halfway decent XMPP client. …But at least native WhisperFish lets you get around the lack of Signal on most non-duopoly platforms.
I use aerc thru home-manager accounts on NixOS
Hardly. It has shackled itself to Git’s internal format. There are more innovative VCSs than it.
Note that Git also isn’t the only distributed version control system (DVCS); there maybe be other alternatives out there for you not just in code forge but the system underneath it too.
Linux is awesome
& so are you ^🥁 1, 2, 3, 4… 🎸^
What I like about this is that I could theorhetically install a non-QWERTY keyboard instead of being locked to such an inefficient layout. Yes, eventually you can learn to touch type, but learning it would be nice to have the keys since it will be a nonstandard layout at that size & when you hand it off to other folks, it’d be completely unexpected to hit q & get a '.

It’s not even pretty or accessible. 2-spaced indentation is incredibly hard to read.

netstat -tunl shows all open ports on the machine to help diagnose any firewall issues.
Have you considered taking your notes on a non-corpo-social-media site that wants you to create accounts with Microsoft to interact with?
Rust doesn’t buy you anything interesting in this space.

Reminder: Microsoft GitHub social media likes is not an accurate barometer of much. Starhacking is a thing & it tells you nothing of the code quality, but just that more authenticated Microsoft accounts, real or fake, have pressed a button—where the more popular/normie/maintstream languages/frameworks get the most signal. You can also read anecdotes thah some folks use this as a bookmark to look at later rather than actually using or enjoying a project.
Free software doesn’t need to rely on a dubious value signal on a proprietary social media platform like MS Github.
Why tho? The logs give you information & progress. After boot you don’t even see it.
I honestly wish Android booted like this.

Meanwhile folks I work with Linux is basically seen as a must (if not specifically NixOS). You are on your own if you want to use OSs that don’t work well with Nix since there is too much value in immutable builds to warrant supporting your proprietary setup. Most ended up switching to or getting a second laptop for Linux.

Vista all over again?
They are probably fine but you should pick up a pair of nice wired headphones for when the battery dies & can no longer hold a charge.
Nah, it’s futuristic Microslop now
