Upvote because you are right. Doenvote for the unnecessary insult.

I’m sure they tested it and found that enough customers would stay to make it profitable.
Consumers, especially Apple users, accept higher prices. It’s baffling to me but true.
In 2014, Netflix was $8/month. It’s now 12 years later and Netflix is $20/month.

Display Port has fancy features like Display Stream Compression where the driver compresses the image going to the screen.
The solution would be for MS to move those features into Windows rather than allow manufacturers flexibility in implementation. MS would get bad publicity for monopoly and then have to deal with fixing Windows for every off brand monitor because the manufacturer didn’t follow the standard exactly.

Disappointed he didn’t do the math for number of loops needed (assuming no friction and infinite strength rope) .

I’ve tried Blender and continue to try to learn but it has an insane learning curve. Imo, it’s only useful for artistic work.
Are you in the US? I recently discovered the Home Depot 5gallon storage container is perfect for filament storage. It’s airtight and has a clear plastic lid that lets you see inside. Most storage containers are milky white which prevents a clear view of the filament inside.
It’s much easier than the individual cereal box containers I have for filament storage.

I had a problem at an exact height every time and it was a tiny bit of dirt on the z screw. I couldn’t see it because it was a white wisp of filament in the threads but after a cleaning and lube the problem went away.

“patent pending”
Includes “Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire”
The article doesn’t go into the details but it doesn’t look good. Including how happy you feel into a final metric of how well you can process data doesn’t seem rigorous.
"This 80 year old is happy and doesn’t know his own name so we will rank him higher than this woman who is still practicing law and playing chess at grandmaster level but is depressed and not sleeping well. "

, only that it can still be improved at that age and we don’t need to resign ourselves to a degraded mind
A reduced degrading is still a degrading.

A +/-.1mm IS doable if you’re careful
The software is introducing more than .1mm before it gets the printer in certain situations. No amount of care can fix that. In the video he starts with his calibration cube that has been tuned to perfect (as far as his calipers can measure). But then he printed a complex part (skull because he’s in bio medicince) and its WAY off because the slicer itself messed up the hotend positioning commands.

People don’t have a choice. Their pensions will be forced to buy SpaceX at inflated IPO prices because Musk controls Nasdaq.
At least Denmark isn’t corrupt.

This is a much better idea than those products that are $1000 for a bad laptop with a tiny eink screen.

The prime tower probably could be much smaller. Its size is mainly structural so that on a tall print it stays stable. But the poop tray on the U1 is pretty small. I could see it needing to be emptied after every large multi color print if it primed into the poop tray.

Hell, even the Snapmaker U1 uses a prime tower,
I have a U1 which is what prompted this post. But Snapmaker doesn’t “use” a Prime tower. They took Orca and kept all the defaults. I was thinking that they might have intentionally kept the prime tower default because they don’t have a real poop chute but only a poop bin which would quickly overflow if they primed into it.

Test it on an object with many color changes
Without knowing why, I would be wasting time. I could be changing colors when the problem is an acceleration condition created by a part shape causing underextrusion.
the only way to find the right answer for you is to test things and figure it out yourself.
The entire point of this forum is to gain knowledge that you don’t already. Instead of answering any questions, you could just respond “Test it yourself.”
Which is why I find it odd that you seem to be looking for an answer that works for one person
I’m not asking what works but WHY a feature exists. Understanding why allows you to design parts correctly from the start instead of screwing around and then randomly getting a good result that you don’t understand and therefore can’t replicate under all conditions.

Poop where?
That’s why I’m thinking it’s a legacy setting in slicers. All printers made in the past 5 years have a purge chute and wiper. So purge goes out the back and the nozzle is wiped before it starts.
Well except the new FlashForge multi head printer that purges off the edge of the build plate.
I don’t know where you live but Amazon has replacement U1 hotends, which includes temp sensor, for 2 for $20 with 1 day delivery.
I picked up 4 to keep in a drawer for when the inevitable unrecoverable clog happens.
