Anyone that finds your take controversial, I would consider insane.
More specifically… the school on paper also agrees with you. They rolled out a whole system to make sure these things go well for employees. There has just never been actually implemented and now we see the result.
So the systems setup for this need to be more than lip service for the brochure or “thoughts and prayers”. And yes this requires an investigation as this could definitely rise to negligent homicide or something.

Only for Americans that need to pay for the tariffs. The devices are made in china.

The Arizona fab is for relatively standard chips, not the high end ones.
And this is also a step to prepare for an incoming president that has already kicked off a trade war before he even got there.

Ah their planned obsolescence lead to botnets that fuck every largo company… so that Microsoft gets looked at.
But the American way is to blame hundreds of thousands… or even millions of individuals.

Bending the knee

Can’t wait for him to try and bully some of the big suppliers. What … you want how much money for a prototype… That will work wonders for the quality.
Maybe defense corporations will start selling devices with paywalled options or subscription.

So he’s an industrial scale scab.

Why does dropbox exist. For the same money Microsoft offers equal storage, plus office.

I have no clue how people use reddit anymore. If I open the app I am greeted with an unrecognisable mess of stuff I never asked for. Sorting is fucked, my frontpage contains stuff I don’t care for and everything seems to be yelling at me for attention causing me to close the app again.
Word of mouth will become important again.
This is how you end up with laws mandating paper cards with pricing information.

Excellent proof of why these systems should not exist under these conditions. Apparently it’s poorly managed and governed
Yup, same here.

I wonder if they will now find the Emperor has no clothes.

Excellent way to get around labor laws. Have a robot controlled by a poor amuck in a low wage country and ignore the labor laws in the country of the robot.

I can see a function for AI here. Scan texts, Tag and keyword them at scale. Probably this was done already but maybe a new gen tool can do it better and faster. I’m just wondering if they actually have people that will look at this and develop best practices or is this just the… here you go… now be more productive, were firing 20pct staff. I know what they say they will do… but let’s see how this turns out.

Of they end up releasing full self driving taxis before the Tesla’s sold with fsd are done I can imagine people that bought fsd will take issue.
Also their stock price did not like the announcement.

So, you have other information you are basing that on? Because the source is one of the top 3 consulting firms in the world.
I’m sure they will happily provide consultancy to the energy sector to avoid this issue, but I’m kinda surprised when random Lemmy accounts think they know better than a leading company like this.
Energy is a pretty tight market where supply and demand are tightly intertwined. So a big boom on the use side as AI is threatening has a good potential to outpace the capacity of the supply side to scale up… thus creating scarcity, driving up prices.
Doesn’t matter. In the situation trump where to ever leave office he will make a blanket pardon so broad anyone is free to do anything in his name till then.
